The Department of Buddhist Civilization is the department to open future Buddhaland with "the practical generosity of true human beings and open education' for the purpose to realize the spirit of 'Do Good to Others by doing Good to me'.
Future Buddhism would be created and national culture would be succeeded and developed through professional sepcialization of popular culture and arts and value of new buddhist studies would be searched and thoughts and history of Buddhism would be researched creatively.
The social demands of creative Buddhist experts has been increasing, but the fact that professional manpower is lack in the present would be taken as an opportunity, it is taken center stage as a future-oriented field to get a job in various sites such as the area to research Buddhism, religious order and cultural area, social welfare area and Buddhist press etc, and the employment would be expanded by getting various certificates through plural major and interdisciplinary study.
